This is chapter 13 taken from Alexander's Thoughts on Religious
Experience. Alexander had twenty years of pastoral ministry
before he went to become Princeton Seminary's first professors.
This was published in 1845, and though it is old, by modern
standards, it contains some of the wisest and weightiest advice
available for Christians who seek to grow in their walk with
Christ.
